A Different Kind of War

So far 2020 has certainly been an interesting year. Chinese New Year came and went in the normal hustle and bustle, and we looked forward to our little break after. Unbeknownst to us, what followed shortly thereafter was a series of unprecedented circumstances and a roller-coaster of challenges presented to us and the world by the new Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2).

The rapid spread of the virus caught everyone unawares and panic started to sweep the world. Understandably, we were inundated with inquiries from concerned customers about the safety of the close proximity of our services. Our response had been swift, taken temperature readings of all staff twice daily and of visiting customers, whilst keeping a record of each and every customer that enters our premises.

Religiously cleaning, dusting, spraying of disinfectant, wiping down the shop with suitable cleaning agents before and after a client visit became a daily affair. We were and will be vigilant, to safeguard you, our dearest supporters, and of course our lovely team of hardworking and dedicated staff.

We are thankful for the trust our regulars have put in us and are grateful for the continued support our little shop (where our staff work with a passion, to keep on providing you with the highest standard of services) receives.

A big thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Circuit Breaker

With the PM’s speech on 3rd April 2020 at 4pm, the trepid announcement that was hanging on everyone’s minds was realized. From it, we are told that we will have to temporarily cease our operations from 7th April 2020 to 4th May 2020. This drastic measure is to facilitate social distancing and bring down the cases of COVID-19 in the community. We are advised to stay at home and only to go out if necessary.

So, it is important for everyone to heed this, to be socially responsible and to work together as a nation to fight, curb and eliminate the onslaught brought about by this epidemic.

As such, our team is bidding a temporary teary goodbye to all our customers, but this is not the end… rest assured, we will be back. Rested, Stronger, and Better.

But in the meantime, keep safe, stay healthy and take care of your loved ones. We will stand together to fight this viral “war” and we will see the light at the end of the tunnel. #SGUnited
